Catch a spark, Register for CodeWorks San Francisco now!

Programming is all about the spark.

A spark of inspiration that helps you squash a bug.

A spark of passion leads you to contribute a patch to an open source project.

A spark intuition that lights a fire in your imagination that you fan into the flames of passion as you build the next big thing.

CodeWorks ’11 is where you will find your spark.

Come spend the day listening and learning. Listen to seven speakers talk about topics they are passionate about. Learn from your peers as they share their spark during the breaks. Come spend the day catching sparks, take them back and fan them into a flame; it all starts with a spark

CodeWorks ’11 is a one day, single-track conference created specifically for PHP developers. Join us and developers from around your area for a full day of learning and networking as php|architect continues the tradition of bringing the conference experience to you. No airport security lines, no bad hotel food and you get to sleep in your own bed. See seven speakers present brand new presentations on topics they are passionate about. Learn from and talk to all seven speakers. This is your opportunity to get together with other PHP developers, talk shop, swap war stories, and take home a spark of inspiration.

Transportation Info from the Venue

Parking Information: If you are staying downtown for a full day, park at the Mason O’Farrell parking garage. We have a parking deal with them, and if you mention that you are attending a San Francisco State University event when you pay for parking at the kiosk, they will charge a flat rate of $8 for 8 hours. Below is their information:

Mason O’Farrell Garage
325 Mason Street
San Francisco, CA 94102

If you will only be parking for an hour or two, then I suggest parking at the 5th and Mission Street parking garage. Their rates are $3.50 per hour, and it is closer to our facilities. Below is their website and address:

Fifth & Mission/Yerba Buena Garage
833 Mission Street
San Francisco, CA 94109

Public Transportation: The SF State Downtown Campus is located in the Westfield San Francisco Centre at 835 Market Street and is accessible by most Bay Area Transit Systems such as the Powell Street BART/MUNI Metro Station, which is below the Downtown Center at Powell and Market Streets. MUNI street cars and buses (lines No. 5, 6, 7, 9, 21, 31, or 66) also stop at Powell and Market, AC Transit & Golden Gate Transit both provide bus service on Mission Street, and Amtrak offers bus pick-up and drop-off from the station in Emeryville directly to Westfield San Francisco Centre (look for the Amtrak sign on Market Street in front of American Eagle Outfitters).
